Pelvis and uterus

Discomfort due to benign changes in the pelvis can be treated with a catheter procedure in selected situations. The consultation is carried out in cooperation with gynecology or urology.

Uterus fibroids

In the case of Uterine fibroid embolization the supplying vessels are sealed in a targeted manner. The goal is a reduction of the Uterine fibroids and a relief of the complaints. A desire to have children must be explicitly discussed in advance.

Pelvic veins

Morbidly dilated pelvic veins can be treated interventionally in appropriate cases. Whether they explain complaints is carefully clarified before a decision is made. Information about the prostate can be found in the prostate and men's health section.

Discuss alternatives

Medications and surgical procedures are included in the consultation. Pain after Embolization, infections and an unintentional Embolization of neighboring vessels are possible risks.

Bring existing doctor’s letters, image data, and a current medication plan. Change medications please only after medical consultation. We discuss benefits, risks and alternatives with you.
