Procedural summary

• Intranodal lymphangiography
• Embolization of lymph leakage
• Thoracic duct embolization
• Drainage and Sclerotherapy of lymphoceles
• Specialised treatment for chylothorax or chylous ascites

Targeting leakages

Lymphatic fluid may leak into an unintended area, for example after surgery. Imaging can identify the cause and a possible access route.

Specialised procedure

Suitability depends on the lymphatic anatomy and the underlying problem. Not every disorder can be treated with an intervention.
