Aortic disease is treated jointly with vascular surgery at Städtisches Klinikum Karlsruhe. Prof. Dr. med. Martin Storck discusses the findings and next steps during the consultation.

• Complex fenestrated or branched endoprostheses

Together with Vascular surgery

Radiology and vascular surgery plan and deliver treatment together at the Karlsruhe vascular centre. Complex cases are discussed at the aortic board. Consultations take place with Prof. Dr. med. Martin Storck. Please contact the vascular surgery department to arrange an appointment.

Planning in vascular team

The decision shall be taken together with Vascular surgery and, where appropriate, cardiac surgery. Complex endoprostheses require specialized planning and infrastructure.

Aftercare is part of this

Follow-up is required after stent-graft treatment. Vascular occlusion, endoleaks, reduced blood supply to organs and contrast-agent risks are discussed beforehand.
