Cardiac CT and MRI

Cardiac CT and cardiac MRI answer different questions. The choice depends on your symptoms, previous findings and cardiological assessment.

Focus of examinations

• Cardiac CT: coronary artery imaging where appropriate
• Cardiac MRI: cardiac function and tissue characterisation
• CT and MR angiography of vessels

Experience in cardiovascular Medical imaging

Before focusing on interventional radiology, I worked as a senior physician in cardiovascular imaging. This experience and my research on cardiac CT and MRI inform my assessment of imaging findings.

Coordinated with cardiology

The findings are classified in the clinical context. The selection of investigations and, if necessary, further steps will be carried out in coordination with the colleagues involved.
